Global Understanding and Mutual Dialogue

The goal of the global understanding is to help students see the world from multiple perspectives, reflect upon their positions in a global society, and be prepared for future engagement as global citizens. While it may include a historical perspective, global understanding focuses primarily on a contemporary understanding of one’s place in a global society. Discussion was made with the students on politics, Education, cross country cultural relations, etc.

Vision of Youth from two countries

Global Understanding and Mutual Dialogue – India Srilanka Friendship Meet was organized in India on 26^th to 28^th December 2013 held at Gudiyattam and organized by Audacious Dreams Foundation, Audacious Academy For Sports And Social Development (AASSD) with inputs and support from Commonwealth Students’ Association, Masha Foundation Unmanifesto-Tamilnadu & Pondicherry, St John’s School, Youth Resource Centre, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development – RGNIYD. Various issues including Education, Politics, cross country cultural relations, youth and migration, peace building was discussed during the meet Adolescent youth were part of the Event organized by Dinesh Gajendran- India and Malhardeen Mohamed – Srilanka.

Students from different Schools where attended the programme. They were able to express their views on Global Understanding and had the interaction with Mr. Dinesh Gajendran, Catalyst and Executive Director of Audacious Dreams Foundation and Malhardeen Mohamed, represented Srilanka for Global Understanding and Mutual Dialogue.
