Audacious Trophy (State Level Sport Championship)
About Audacious Trophy:
Audacious Academy for Sports and Social Development (AASSD), Audacious Trophy 2010 – a state level invitation Kho-Kho Tournament, July 2010 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu is our initiative which aims to bring to light the talents of rural students. We desire to conduct the Tamil Nadu State level Kho-Kho Championship Tournament during July 2010 in Madurai for both Men and Women.
It is a 3 day KHO-KHO state invitational tournament which will include a large number of sports personalities, national, state and university players/ referees.
More than sixteen teams of both men and women from various districts like Chennai, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tanjore, Chidambaram, Salem, Coimbatore, Vellore, Pondichery, Theni, Dharmapuri, Thirunelveli, Trichy, Kanchipuram, etc. are expected to take part.
From more than ten districts the students are came to participate. The state referees from the Tamil Nadu arrived to judge the kho-kho match.
The referees Mr. Manickam- Selection Committee, School Games federation of INDIA Mr.Senthil kumar, Thirupur District, Mr.Tennarasan-Tanjore, Mr. Senthil, Thiruvarur, Mr. Anandaprasad, Madurai. Winner-Annamalai University, Runner Madura District, 3rd Place, Carmel Hr. Sec School, Kangeyam. 4th place, Trinelveli. Host Supporter- Dept of Management Studies, MK University.Chief Guest- Dr. Muthuchelian, Syndicate Member Madurai Kamaraj University and Young Indian Scientist Award Winner. Audacious Life time Achievement Award 2010 to Mr. V.N. Selvaraj, Joint Secretary Tamilnadu State Kho-Kho Association.
The Audacious trophy-state level spports championship was conducted to celebrate the international youth day. The state level sports championship was conducted on every year’s international youth day from 2010-2012.
