Change your World+ Audacious Dreams youth for MDG campaign:

Audacious Dreams Foundation Represented the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association in UN HLMY.

Audacious planned to start/organise series of campaigns/events to celebrate the conclusion of International Year of Youth and International Youth Day through our initiative/organisation Audacious Academy for Sports and Social Development (AASSD).

Audacious Dreams Foundation planned to launch many programme on International youth day and continued this initiative in future. These initiatives had got good shape and got support/advice/partnership from like minded people.

The International year and Youth day celebration was held at rural areas. The free blood test campaign was held in the rural peoples. The maternal awareness was created to the women in their home itself. The awareness on malnutrition was also created between the rural people.

The child morality awareness was created to the women in the rural area. The diabetes awareness was given to elders and they were insisted maintained to maintain their proper diet. Mr.Dinesh Gajendran was recognized and had a token of love from the local people for UN participation. The session was conducted to the paramedical students on the Millennium Development goals. The students were very interactive with the session. Mr.Dinesh Gajendran shared his experience in UN participation with the students. Mr.Praveen Kumar delivered the speech on the Health part o the MDGs. The students were interactive in the session they had a clear idea on MDGs. Then finally the Audacious Dreams Fellowship was given to the volunteers. They worked on the MDG in the rural areas for one year. The new brand and an initiative were initiated on that day which is Audacious Academy for Sports and Social Development (AASSD).

The Future Projects of Audacious Dreams Foundation:

1. Workshops on MDGs and awareness programmes to School and college Students
2. Create students as health ambassadors and giving fellowships to them in which they will work on various health issues in their respective community for 18 months
3. Launch of Health Programmes including free blood grouping test, free urine sugar test, General health check up, and General physical examination, BP& TPR to students and in rural and underprivileged villages
4. Awareness programmes on HIV AIDS, maternal health, Child mortality, malaria, cholera, malnutrition, thalasemmia, diabetes mellitus and hypertension etc
5. Sports for Education: Conduct interstate sports championship for rural students and providing them opportunities to pursue higher education
6. Sports for Employment: Training students in preferred sports and providing one on one mentorship for better employment through sports
7. Skill for Life: Launching Free computer education and Language labs to learn new languages to rural students
8. Know rights: Human rights awareness
9. Creative medium for Social Development: Teaching creative skills to students and induce them to use creative skills towards social development looking forward to start the campaign and reach large number of deserved community
