Holi Fest @Vellore
Holi Fest @Vellore is the event organized by Audacious Dreams Foundation in association with Ambalal group of Companies in the name called “Rang Barse” for the occasion of Holi on March 27, 2016.
Holi is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated on the day after the last full moon of the Hindu calendar, and it always falls sometime between February and March.
It is a spring festival, and also known as the festival of colors.
It is a two day festival; the first day is known as Holika Dahan and the second day is known as Rangwali Holi. The following day involves gathering in public spaces, playing games and, of course, throwing handfuls of colored powder and drenching one another with water.
Audacious Dreams Foundation conducted a grand initiative of community building in conjunction with the Ambalal Group of Companies – Celebration for the First Time of Rang Barse, on Sunday 27 March 2016 at Ambalal Green City from 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM. This day long festival has the potential of bringing thousands of people at one place and at the same time. Audacious Dreams organized a special DJ party on that day.
The Rang Barse theme is to bring the communities and individuals with different cultural, religious and national background to come together and enjoy the feeling of companionship and friendship amongst known and unknowns by sharing the fun of sprinkling and dusting the beautiful dry colors on each other signifying that the Mother nature’s scheme of beautiful colors is nondiscriminatory and it creates a blissful complementary combination of pleasure enjoyed by everyone.
