Our Youth Resource Center organized a International Youth Day celebration on 12^th August 2012. International Youth Day is observed annually on 12 August. It is meant as an opportunity for governments and others to draw attention to youth issues worldwide. During IYD, concerts, workshops, cultural events, and meetings involving national and local government officials and youth organizations take place around the world.

IYD was designated by the United Nations in 1999 with the adoption of Resolution 54/120. Volunteers and Youth mentors of Youth Resource Center has collectively organized this programme. Our catalyst and Executive Director Mr.Dinesh Gajendran has been inaugurated the programme. During the programme some stationaries and note books has been donated to the young people those who are from rural background. Then our catalyst and Executive Director has been address the participants and presented some gifts to the Youth Resource Center members and Volunteers.
