Audacious Dreams Foundation (ADF) Mainstreams Youth Participation in Democracy by encouraging youth to participate in Nation Building Participating in Grama Sabha- Grassroots political body Encouraging Voting Awareness.

The largest Youth Crowd mainstreamed “Demand to be a part of Democracy” and Raised Youth Voice towards sustainable development of Tamilnadu. My Space-My Manifesto Campaign engaged youth in the political process beyond simply voting during elections. This campaign aims at getting young people to participate in all aspects of the political story, rather than just the tip of the iceberg – the voting process.

The Youths from Indian Institute for Paramedical Science participated in the campaign. They painted their face with our National flag colour and they had a walked throughout the town by holding the slogans related to the youth and democracy. The campaign was conducted in Gudiyattam , Vellore District , Tamilnadu. The People’s parliament meeting was held at Thalayattam Village Panchayat, Gudiyattam.The youth observed the Grama Sabha activities engaged with the people in the Panchayat. The facilities required to the people were put forward to the president and the solutions were given to the people.

The schemes which were provided to the people of that Panchayat were list out in front of the people by the Panchayat committee member. The performed schemes for the 2013 were also put forward to the people. The cleanliness of the village and street light facilities and water supply facility were checked out through the people. After the regular meeting the youths participated in the campaign expressed their views on the participation of youth in election to the public. The president of the Panchayat board started the Signing campaign by signing in my space-My Manifesto poster followed by him 100 peoples participated in the signing campaign. It created a great impact between the youths in participation in election and demand for democracy.
