National Youth Day is celebrated in India on 12 January on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared the day as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.

We have celebrated National Youth Day at Youth Resource Center, Gudiyattam. Our Volunteers from diversified geographical locations has been participated in this programme. This youth day was promoted youth centric development through walkathon and skits in public places like bus stands, municipality office, fire station, police station etc. And we also visited schools to promote Higher education campaign. Also our team organized a dialogue on Sustainable Development and Millennium Development Goals.

Our Catalyst and Executive Director Mr.Dinesh Gajendran has been addressed the participants and shred his various youth development activities and success stories of our former volunteers and youth panelists.
