Dinesh Gajendran-Peter Cruddas Social Innovation Initiative:
Audacious Dreams Foundation initiated the development the young people through sports. I this project Audacious adopted 35 students from an underprivileged village, and Formed Audacious Academy for Sports and Social Development(AASSD) .Through this rural students were improved to excel in Sports and Education and award .Now the students of Academy excelled throughout India in Sports meet, Now they are the Champions of Tamilnadu and All INDIA too. Through the award the changes was made in these 35 rural students. This project was shortlisted in the Peter Cruddas social innovation initiative and Mr.Dinesh Gajender selected as one of Top 18 social Innovator in World, for Peter Cruddas Social Innovation Initiative.
Peter Cruddas Social Innovation Initiative:
The Peter Cruddas Social Innovation Initiative aimed to recognize participants who used their Award to make a difference to the lives of others. With the support of interns in our regional offices the International Award Foundation has collected transformative stories under four themes:
Using sport as a tool for community development
Using the Award to raise awareness of a local, national or international issue
Using the Award to bring together people from different cultures, religious or ethnic backgrounds
Using the Award to empower girls or women
The Peter Cruddas Foundation, established by Peter Cruddas, is supporting the initiative. Peter has been a passionate supporter of the Award since 2005, when he became our first global ambassador/benefactor, and is underlining his continuing commitment through this exciting project. Any novel and useful solution to a social need or problem, that is better than existing approaches (i.e., more effective, efficient, sustainable, or just) and for which the value created (benefits) accrues primarily to society as a whole rather than private individuals.
Peter Cruddas Social Innovation Initiative Peter has been an enthusiastic supporter of the International Award since 2005, when he became our first Global Benefactor, and is underlining his continuing commitment through this exciting project.
The initiative
The Peter Cruddas Social Innovation Initiative aims to recognise Gold Award participants who demonstrate enterprising attitudes, and who have used their Award Programme to benefit a specific section of society. The initiative has been set up to recognise these individuals for their commitment to changing the lives of others.
Exchange of ideas and values between public, private, and nonprofit sectors – Socially Responsible Investing • Shifting roles and relationships between business government and nonprofits – Emissions Trading • Blending of market-based principles and mechanisms with public and philanthropic support. – Affordable home ownership and secondary mortgage market.
