Rajathi Raja – Cultural Fest
Rajathi Raja is the mass event took place first time in Gudiyattam, Vellore. Rajathi Raja, the King Maker, is the initiative programme organized by “Youth Resource Centre (YRC)”, Institute of Youth Affairs and Social Development (IYASD), Audacious Dreams Foundation, Rajiv Gandhi National institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), Government of India in association with Ambalal Real Estates, Rotaract club of Gudiyattam. Rajathi Raja event was organized in aid of Eradicating child labour, Reducing School drops outs and promoting higher education in the community. This event is initiated in order to bring the hidden talents of young people from rural areas, in and around Gudiyattam by conducting Inter school/college Competition. Around 4000+ students participated in Rajathi Raja event, this paved a way that students are interested to show their talent and prove that they are best among others. Dinesh Gajendran, Founder of Audacious Dreams Foundation and Coordinator, Youth Resource centre and 15+ volunteers coordinated this grand event enthusiastically, to empower the hidden talents of young people. It was a two days programme which was conducted on 31 August – 1st September, 2013.
The students were divided into four categories of participants such as Sub-Juniors, Juniors, Seniors, Super Seniors. They were categorized according to the classes, such as LKG – 3rd Standard under Sub-Juniors, 4th– 6th Standard under Juniors, 7th-9th Standard under Seniors, 10th – 12th Standard under Super Seniors.

Sathyamoorthy, Chairman, Interact clubs, (RI DIST 3230), Rtn. Mohan. Advocate, Past president, Rotary club of Gudiyattam(RI DIST 3230), Rtn. Chandra Sekar, Rotary club of KK Nagar, Associate Chairman, Rotaract,( RI DIST 3230), Inner wheel club president, KMG Rajendran( KMG group of Institutions ), Inner wheel club president, KMG Rajendran( KMG group of Institutions ), Inner wheel club president, KMG Rajendran( KMG group of Institutions). The Rajathi Raja – Cultural Fest was conducted at KMG College, Gudiyattam, Vellore.
The Rajathi Raja – Cultural Fest consist of following events, Fashion show, Karathe, Dance, Speech, Rangoli, Essay, Drawing, Sell Bee, Group dance, etc. the schools which have participated are St. Johns- Chennai, Adi Dravidar School- Chettikuppam, St. Johns school- Gudiyattam, Saraswathi Vidyalaya –Gudiyattam, AGS –Odugathur, Brammas Vidyalaya –Gudiyattam, Government Thirumagal Mills College –Gudiyattam, KMG College –Gudiyattam and other such schools and colleges in and around Gudiyattam.
Day 1
On 31st August, 2013 at KMG College, around 9.00 am the event started with the registration of participants in the Rajathi Raja – Cultural Fest. All the students in and around Gudiyattam from various Schools and Colleges registered enthusiastically. The events begin with the facilitation of the Chief Guest by Mr. Dinesh Gajendran and the introduction speech was given by him, followed by the speeches of Guest in the dials. On first day of the cultural fest events such as Fancy Show, Spell Bee, Essay writing, Speech, mime, Rangoli, Drawing competition, Group dance was conducted. Huge crowd was gathered in the event, where they are coordinated by the volunteers from Audacious Dreams Foundation.
Day 2
The second day of the Rajathi Raja – Cultural Fest was started with the Cultural events and DJ. The students who had participated in this event enjoyed a lot and the songs were made to play for 12 hours continuously by the DJ’s from Chennai. T shirt release was also took place in order to eradicate Child Labor, reducing School drop outs and promoting the higher education among the community. The T-Shirt was released by Rtn. Jawarilal Jain and received by Dr. T. Gopinath Thasil, Rajiv Gandhi National institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), Government of India.
