Samjho Toh Express is a campaign organized by Audacious Dreams Foundation as partner, initiated by Commutiny-The Youth Collective and its forum members across India in 11 states which aims at cultivating cross border friendships through an experiential journey which will help the youth in reflecting and breaking the stereotypes that they hold for other communities, genders, castes, religions, ethnic backgrounds etc. A journey through this campaign will help in internalizing the need to understand the ‘other’. The campaign looks at amplifying, nurturing and evaluating the 5th space concept through, Promoting young leaders and youth led organizations to engage on issues of social exclusion and enabling active social media engagements to create awareness on issues of social exclusion and friendships beyond borders/labels.

After completion of cycle I, our team initiated cycle II of SamjhoToh express journey. 42 young people from various districts of Tamilnadu joined together in Trichy to kick off their new friendship journey. Then they have participated as pairs in various social events and showed their strength of friendship beyond their age, gender, religion, caste, language etc.,
