International Award for Young People:

The International Award for Young People (IAYP) is the most adaptable and successful youth empowerment program without religious, political or strategic affiliations. It has an established capacity for identifying hard issues and challenges associated with youth. IAYP’s framework is used by schools, youth organisations, community groups, correctional services, employers and government departments nationwide. Around the world, more than 140 countries use this model for positive youth empowerment. IAYP draw together and connect people, institutions and generations with the common purpose of youth development and inclusion. IAYP is the Programme of choice for over 11 million people in the world today.

Adventure Journey is one of the process to complete the journey of International Award for Young People (IAYP) which aims to encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery whilst undertaking a journey in a group. This Section seeks to provide participants with a unique, challenging and memorable experience. The journey, with an agreed purpose, should be undertaken in a small team in an unfamiliar environment, requiring determination, physical effort, perseverance and cooperation to complete.

We have facilitated this Adventure Journey specially designed for the Vellore Special project participants. Vellore special Project was inititated by International award for Young People to encourage and develope young people of grassroots level.
